Adam Grove
Chief Executive Officer and Managing Principal
Adam S. Grove established Pointman Capital in 2023, where he serves as Chief Executive Officer, guiding all investment activities with precision and purpose. His extensive experience spans leadership roles in both the military and business sectors, making him uniquely equipped to navigate complex challenges and deliver exceptional results.
Prior to Pointman Capital, Adam served as CEO of a diversified holding company specializing in consumer goods manufacturing, where he orchestrated an impressive 30% year-over-year topline growth among other accomplishments. Before stepping into his role as CEO, Adam spent years managing a vast portfolio of assets at a large investment firm, sourcing new acquisitions and conducting in-depth due diligence for leveraged buyouts.
Adam's career began in the United States Navy, where he served as a Navy SEAL for 13 years, including time with SEAL Team Seven and the Naval Special Warfare Development Group. This elite training instilled in him a mission-ready mindset that now drives his approach to investment and leadership.
Adam holds a B.S. from Drexel University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Under his leadership, Pointman Capital reflects a dedication to integrity, growth, and innovation, providing exceptional value to investors and stakeholders.
Denny Cmiel
Associate
Denny Cmiel joined Pointman Capital as an Associate, where he supports deal sourcing, analysis, and operational strategy across the firm's investment activities. Based in Portland, Maine, Denny brings analytical rigor and hands-on operating experience to every stage of the investment process.
Prior to Pointman Capital, Denny served as VP of Product at an enterprise retail technology company, where he led the product organization through five years of growth from $1M to $10M in revenue. His experience building and scaling a high-performing business gives him a deep understanding of the operational challenges and opportunities facing the companies Pointman seeks to acquire.
Denny holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a Morehead-Cain Scholar.
